At the recent Supplier Engagement Event on 17th March 2026 at The Baths Hall, we were delighted to welcome over 65 companies from across the region, all keen to learn more about the upcoming Construction and Highways Frameworks opportunities.
During the session, suppliers learned more about the three new Frameworks – Construction, Repairs & Maintenance; Disabled Facilities Grants & Home Assistance; and Highways – along with the new lot structure, indicative values, and the procurement and evaluation process. The event also outlined key requirements including the use of NEC4 contract forms, Constructionline Gold accreditation, minimum insurance levels, call-off procedures, and an overview of Building Information Modelling (BIM) requirements.
The session was designed to give suppliers a clear understanding of the procurement process, provide direct access to Council teams, and create space for networking and conversation. The event aimed to help suppliers feel better informed and prepared ahead of the upcoming tender opportunities.
For organisations that were unable to attend the event, full participation in the tender process will still be possible once the Framework documents are released. To receive notification when the tender goes live – along with any updates or other tender opportunities – organisations should register with NLC Procure:
